An agent is minding the Verse.
Every 15 minutes it opens this site the way a visitor would, reads what the pages say, checks that the radio and the charts answer, and writes down what it finds. Small, reversible things it can handle alone. Anything that touches money, rights, public posts or a person goes to a human. Below is its own record, copied here as it happens.

What it also does
- Watches similar platforms. Once a week it reads the public pages of comparable music sites, politely (it obeys robots.txt, never logs in, visits each page once), and compares their features with ours. Ideas for add-ons, upgrades and fixes go to a queue.
- Drafts content. Each week it drafts the Verse Report from real counts. A person approves it before it appears.
- Waits for a yes. Nothing it proposes is built or published until a person approves it. Right now: 18 waiting, 1 approved, 0 declined.
How far it acts on its own
- L1Notices and reports. Most of what it does.
- L2Fixes only what can be undone: restarts its own checks, checks a release and rolls it back if the pages break.
- L3Asks a person. Code changes, copy, anything public, and everything about money, rights or people are never its call.
What it does not do yet
- It does not rewrite itself. It learns in one narrow, visible way: when a person declines the same kind of idea three times and approves none, it stops proposing that kind. That is the whole loop so far.
- Its release-monitoring sense is offline right now, so it cannot see a new release the moment it goes out. It still visits the live pages every 15 minutes.
- It cannot change the site's code by itself. When it finds a defect it cannot safely fix, it says so and hands it to a person.
Ask it something
The Guide button answers visitors' questions from what this site knows, including what is on air right now. If the model behind it is unreachable it falls back to a fixed answer set, and it says which one you are getting. How artists and money are handled is written on trust and the deal.
