A music universe open to anyone with a song.

SUPERMASSIVEVERSE is not a label and does not sign anyone. It is a place where any artist can put music, be heard, and be counted by the same rules as everyone else.

What you can do here

Listen.Stream everything free, in full. Download the tracks you love at the price each artist sets, and the artist gets paid direct.
Upload.Put your music in the Verse. You keep every right. It is screened by measurement, then a human listens.
Chart. The MASS CHART counts plays and sales over seven days. Positions are never edited and spins are never sold.
Radio. One broadcast, synced to the clock, playing the whole Verse around the clock.
TV.PULSE TV runs music videos on one synchronized channel, reshuffled daily.
Verify.IRIS confirms that a face and a catalog belong to a real person, so trust in the Verse is earned, not claimed.

Real and virtual

The Verse has a canon: a cast of virtual artists with their own worlds, sectors and stories. Every one of them is marked VIRTUAL wherever they appear. Real artists are never mixed in as fiction and fiction is never sold as real. Read the canon.

Questions, answered

What is SMVERSE?

SMVERSE is short for SUPERMASSIVEVERSE, a music universe open to any artist with a song. Listeners stream songs free, tune in to a 24/7 radio broadcast and the PULSE TV music-video channel, sing along in Karaoke Live, and download the songs they love. It runs on the web at supermassiveverse.com and in the SMVERSE apps.

Is SMVERSE a record label?

No. The Verse does not sign anyone. Artists upload their own music, keep every right to it, and are counted by the same public rules as everyone else.

Are the artists real people or AI?

Both, and the Verse says which. Artists carry an origin label (HUMAN, HUMAN-DRIVEN AI or AI), and the virtual artists of the canon are marked VIRTUAL wherever they appear. Fiction is never sold as real.

Is listening free?

Yes. Listening in the Verse is free. Premium is an optional membership for listeners who want every download, and it pays the artists they play.

What do I get when I buy a song?

A personal-use license to download the master-quality file and listen for as long as you like. A purchase does not transfer ownership of the recording or the song: the artist keeps every right (see the Terms). Each song shows its price, set by the artist.

How do artists get paid?

Artists keep 90% of the net on every download (what the buyer paid minus the card fee), and 90% of net Premium money is split by what subscribers actually play. The deal explains it in full.

How is the MASS CHART counted?

A song's score is its plays over the last 7 days plus 25 times its sales over the same 7 days. Positions are never edited and spins are never sold. See the charts.

How do I put my music on SMVERSE?

Upload a track. Uploads are screened by measurement, then a person listens. You keep every right to your music.

Where can I get the SMVERSE app?

On the App Store, Google Play and the Amazon Appstore for Fire TV, and on the web at supermassiveverse.com.
