THE STORY
Crossed at Nogales at seven, asleep with his boots on the wrong feet. His father roofed Phoenix in August; he runs three crews now and sings about it in the Spanish his family speaks at the table, Sinaloa phrasing over 808s. Every song is a movie because every song happened.
CANON
READ THE REALM ⟶ORIGIN
Sinaloa soul with an American hustle, corridos tumbados cut with trap drums. Tierra Brava is the land; El Jefe is the man who claims it. Every song he makes is a movie, so the Screen was always going to be his sector.
WHERE THE STORY IS NOW
He is filming the Tide's feud from the inside and quietly building an alliance with the dancefloor nations.
ARTIFACT
A requinto guitar with a bullet-hole tuning peg.
